Catherine's palace (Amber Room) & Park

This guided tour includes Catherine's palace tour with the world's famous Amber Room and the peaceful gardens with multiple photo opportunities. Catherine's Palace and the surrounding parks were created by Empress Elizabeth and Catherine the Great, which is why Pushkin was formerly known as 'village of the tsar's' (Tsarskoe Selo). The Palace, with its famous Amber Room, is an impressive post-WWII reconstruction. The adjoining Cameron Gallery has a magnificent view of the park and the Agate Room. The gardens of Catherine Park, which are spectacular in the snow, are dotted with unusual buildings, including a Chinese village.

Time	Description
Meeting place: at your hotel lobby. Since there will be other people, please be ready for pick up at 09:15. Depending on your hotel location, you will be picked up first, second, or third in line.
09:30	Meet your guide and driver at your hotel lobby. Transfer by mini-van to the Imperial Residence of Tsarskoye Selo located to the south of Saint Petersburg.
10:30 - 13:30	Enjoy a spectacular guided tour of Catherine's Palace with Amber Room with Special Fast Track Admission to minimize crowds and waiting time. During the tour, you will learn the history of Tsarskoye Selo, its secrets, and its hidden gems. Inside Catherine's palace, explore the stunning golden interiors of the Baroque loved by Empress Elizabeth and see the world-famous Amber Room with your own eyes. Some say the Room is the 8th wonder of the world, created exclusively of all kinds of amber and precious stones. Learn the story of this legendary place, of its innovative creation, tragic disappearance, and glorious reconstruction. After the palace tour, you will have a chance to walk in the park and admire beautiful gardens and ponds surrounding the residence. You are also welcome to have a quick lunch break in one of the park's local cafés (not included).
