The Lumiere Brothers Photography Center (Moscow, Russia) presents an exhibition of Harry Benson, known for his photographs of The Beatles of 1964-1966. It was these years that became the most important for the entire career of the Liverpool Four, the most productive and successful.
The exposition will include iconic shots of the Beatles. Among them, the Pillow Fight (1964), included in the list of 100 Most Influential Photos by Time magazine.
In addition to the pictures of the Liverpool four, the exposition consists of portraits of famous people of the 1960-1990s - politicians, athletes, musicians, actors.
The exhibition will be open until January 19, 2020.
Today in the Manege Hall of the Small Hermitage, a large-scale archaeological exhibition “Gods, People, Heroes” was opened, organized jointly with the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii. Visitors will be able to see the works of ancient art from Pompeii and Herculaneum. These cities were completely destroyed in the I century as a result of the eruption of Vesuvius. Ginza Project presented their concept of abandoned greenhouses renewal in the Tavrichesky Garden on the corner of Potemkina and Shpalernaya streets. Russian government has approved the construction of high-speed railway from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod.
The cost of the transport way is estimated at 621.5 billion rubles, of which 200 billion will be allocated from the budget, and Russian Railways will provide 200 billion RUB more.
