Christmas Market By The Sea

Where? Sevkable Port, Kozhevennaya Line, 31, Vasilievsky Island.
When: 15-16 December

The first big Christmas market.
The “Sevkabel Port” will host the first big Christmas market of this season.
The fair participants will include, but not be limited to, Snt Ptrbrg clothing brand, the MIL underwear shop, Berry Basket jam producers, MARiKo Minankari, a Georgian jewellery brand. In addition, the guests will enjoy DJ performances, a food market by “They love to eat” gastroteam, as well as a food court with food and drinks from Gas Brew, Mother Trucker and other restaurants. There also will be held several master classes, participants of which will learn to create Christmas toys, leather bracelets and Christmas wreaths.

Christmas Charity Market in Annekirche

Where? Annekirche church, Kirochnaya str., 8A
When? 20-23 December

The end of the year will be celebrated greatly by the art space, which had its cross installed back on the dome this year.
The organizers promise to hold a series of children’s performances based on the cartoon “Gravity Falls” and the annual Christmas Charity Market.
The fair will last four days, customers will be able to purchase unordinary goods & souvenirs: for example, designer ties and toys from Folga studio from Veliky Novgorod. In addition, musicians will perform New Year and Christmas songs inside the church.

St.Petersburg’s Fair and Winter “O, da! Eda!” festival

Where? Gostiny Dvor, Nevsky Prospekt, 35
When? 22-23 December

The traditional handmade festival continues to open new locations – after the Berthold Center and Sevcable Port, the St. Petersburg Fair opens inside the Gostiny Dvor.
Hundreds of handmade artists will present their jewelry, ceramics, interior decoration items and many other products.
Also, guests will be offered clothes from young Russian designers, homemade alimentary products and a program of lectures and master classes. Together with the fair, the first winter festival “O, Da! Eda” will be held. Participants will focus on Christmas dishes and national cuisine from different countries. Visitors will be able to taste Swiss raclette cheese, Serbian pleskawitza and German currywurst sausages.

Christmas Market on the New Holland Island

Where? New Holland Island, Admiralteysky Channel Embankment
When? December 25 – January 8

The traditional Christmas market on the New Holland island is organized in the courtyard of the Bottle House. Organizers have already installed an eight-meter high Christmas tree. During the market you will also be able to enjoy your mulled wine in an armchair, as well shop for local goods in the 14 stalls with gifts and food. Residents of the market will range from flower shops to book, charity organizations and ceramics confectionaries. Inside the Bottle House tenants will prepare seasonal dishes and warming drinks, and a Christmas tree market will be organized at the entrance to the building.

Christmas Market on Pionerskaya Square

Where? Pionerskaya Square, Pushkinskaya metro station
When? December 22 – January 7

As in previous years, local authorities will hold a Christmas fair on Pioneer Square in front of the Theater for Young Spectators.
158 pavilions, products from masters from 12 countries and 17 Russian regions, the residence of Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug, festive performances, as well as an ice rink, carousels and other entertainment for children will be presented for everyone by the city government. Also, guests will be introduced to the national cuisine and holiday traditions of Austria, Cuba and Israel.
